• Law graduates without enrolment are not eligible.

🏛️ Experience (Post-based)

• Assistant Legal Aid Defence Counsel: 0 – 3 years of practice in criminal law before Magistrate Courts or Sessions Courts.
• Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel: Minimum 7 years of criminal law practice.
• Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel: Minimum 10 years of criminal law practice.
• Note: Experience in criminal litigation, bail work, remand and sessions trial is preferred.
