Salary / Pay Scale: RPNLUP Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026

The salary is provided according to the revised pay matrix for university faculty positions.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy either of the following conditions:

Option A

1. Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
2. Candidate must have cleared UGC NET / SLET / SET in Law, or
3. Candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Law in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016.

Relaxation of 5% marks is available for reserved categories as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Option B

Candidates with Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 globally in:

• QS World University Rankings
• Times Higher Education Rankings
• Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking)

are also eligible.

Selection Process: RPNLUP Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026

The selection process may include:

1. Shortlisting based on academic score (UGC criteria)
2. Interview
3. University may also conduct
   • Written Test
   • Presentation / Mock Class
   • Skill Test

Final selection will be based primarily on interview performance.
