Educational Qualification: SBI Law Officer Recruitment 2026

Assistant Manager (Law)

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) (3-year or 5-year integrated course) from a recognized university.
• Candidate must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience as:
  • Practicing Advocate, or
  • Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Scheduled Commercial Bank.

Deputy Manager (Law)

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).
• Enrolment with the Bar Council.
• Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience as:
  • Practicing Advocate, or
  • Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Scheduled Commercial Bank.

Salary

Assistant Manager (Law) – JMGS-I

Pay Scale:

₹48,480 – ₹85,920 (Approx. as per SBI JMGS-I pay scale)

Deputy Manager (Law) – MMGS-II

Pay Scale:

₹64,820 – ₹93,960 (Approx. as per SBI MMGS-II pay scale)

Apart from basic pay, selected candidates will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, medical benefits, leave, and other admissible allowances as per SBI rules.
