    Honorarium / Salary

    Nature of Work

    Judicial Research Assistants will assist Hon’ble Judges in judicial work. Their work may include:

    • Legal research on matters and legal issues assigned by the Judge
    • Attending Court
    • Making notes
    • Drafting memoranda
    • Assisting in judicial work
    • Any other work assigned by the Hon’ble Judge

    The official notice states that Judicial Research Assistants shall carry out work assigned by the Hon’ble Judge, including research in matters and legal issues required by the Judge.

    Conduct and Confidentiality

    Judicial Research Assistants must maintain high standards of reputation and integrity. They must maintain secrecy regarding:

    • Matters coming to their notice during assignment
    • Documents and papers handled by them
    • Deliberations and discussions
    • Work assigned by the Hon’ble Judge
    • Information relating to the Hon’ble Judge
